AMD
AMD is a progressive retinopathy associated with chronic inflammation of the macula, resulting in progressive loss of central vision. To date, no effective treatments for dry AMD have become available.
Solution
We are developing new, safe, and highly potent anti‑inflammatory drugs for chronic inflammatory diseases that prevent oxidative stress and avoid the adverse side effects associated with current therapies.
Our first product: MIR001
MIR001 for dry AMD
MIR001 will offer a solution for the early stages of age‑related macular degeneration (dry AMD), the most common and severe chronic inflammatory eye condition for which no safe and effective treatments are currently available. MIRIDITAS is developing the first safe and effective treatment for dry AMD.
